Provide educational, pedagogical, social and academic support tailored to the needs of children and young people in difficulty. Combat school drop-out in rural areas by setting up and managing student centers in the rural commune of AIT ABASS in the Bénimelal-Khénifra region.
As part of the implementation of the project to improve pre-school education and accelerate the pace of its generalization, CMED has designed and developed, in collaboration with AREFs and in partnership with the LDS Charities foundation, a capacity-building program for pre-school educators to enable them to deliver pre-school education more effectively, while providing them with an outside perspective and new enrichment.
More than 650 preschool teachers trained and integrated by CMED
To offer young girls from underprivileged, mountainous and remote areas an educational environment and a comfortable place to avoid dropping out of school. In partnership with LE MEN, INDH and the municipality of AIT ABASS in the Bénimelal Khénifra region, CMED has set up a house for female students housing over 60 girls, and a house for male students currently under construction.

Offer a second chance of schooling to young people and teenagers who have dropped out of formal schooling, and introduce a new teaching method based on preparing students for socio-professional life and adapting them to labor market conditions through new-generation second-chance centers.

CMED has set up the Water for Food project, which aims to develop local agriculture in the AIT ABASS region in order to guarantee the survival of local populations, through irrigation practices and agroecosystems that are more sustainable, equitable and resilient to climate change. This will be achieved through the installation of two drinking and irrigation basins, as well as solar panels to conserve energy resources.
